The online learning will cover:
o Pilates history, Pilates principles and Pilates fundamentals
o Health and safety, screening, roles and responsibilities of a Pilates instructor Setting SMART goals
o How to structure a Pilates class
o Posture, theory overview of the spine and core muscles Breathing in Pilates
o Setting up and mobilising the body in Pilates
o Beginner and intermediate level exercises adapted from the original method
Stretching techniques Virtual workshops will provide you with an opportunity to have more face-to-face time with a tutor, interact, ask questions and cover essential learning both practical and theoretical.
You will also be set homework for your practical day. The Virtual workshops will cover:
o Online Pilates classes
o Pilates principles and application o Pilates fundamentals and application o Posture types
o Pilates demonstration classes
o Develop teaching skills
