Overview

This one-day practical workshop covers the anatomy and function of the core, as well as exercise and its role in muscle balance and posture. The core muscles lie deep within the body and are the foundation for all movement. Fitness professionals need to understand the functions of these muscles and how to train clients to exercise them properly to prevent injury and improve exercise performance. Following the training, your staff will have with the knowledge and skills they’ll need to prescribe safe, effective and challenging core exercise for their clients across a wide range of needs and abilities.

Entry Requirements

Any employees enrolled on this course must already hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. If this qualification was certified over 3 years ago, further evidence may be required.

Assessment

No formal assessment, but competence is observed on course during teaching practice.

Closed Course

A bespoke course at your own venue of choice, exclusively for your members of staff. A closed course involves a more intimate training experience, that only your employees will attend.

P.S. closed courses typically save 20-40% on average (dependent on the number of learners).
