On completion of this course, a learner can gain employment or become self-employed as a sports massage therapist. In addition to this, it can be an extra service and/or product to offer clients as part of a Personal Trainer business. This course enables qualified learners to work with injured clients and those with patterns of dysfunction as well as healthy clients.
The course covers practical application of both subjective and objective client assessment. As well as provide sports massage techniques to manage and/or prevent injury, including treatments to support the repair of soft tissue. Assessments across the course incorporate portfolio completion and practical observations.
With the specialist units and training that this course provides, you will be able to offer both a wider spectrum of services to your existing PT client base or supply bespoke sports massage therapy.
