Learning Outcomes
The Sports Taping Techniques CPD Course provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, benefits, and applications of sports taping for various muscle groups, joints, and conditions. Participants will gain the ability to differentiate between decompression, neutral, and stretch taping techniques and apply them appropriately to support major muscle groups, such as the calf, hamstring, quadriceps, IT band, forearm, upper back, and neck. The course also covers strategies for managing conditions like plantar fasciitis, oedema, and pregnancy-related discomfort while emphasising client safety and comfort. Additionally, learners will develop problem-solving skills to adapt taping techniques to meet individual client needs and recognise contraindications and precautions associated with sports taping.
