Course Overview

This piece of online learning will give you a comprehensive introduction to the field of intrinsic biomechanics, covering background theory, definitions, key concepts, a range of tests and suitable exercises for the pelvis, spine and shoulders to help restore function to the body.

Learn more about this course

Following 20 years of research, we now have a set of simple, easy-to-perform manual tests that can give us a very good insight into the likelihood of someone sustaining an injury – their ‘injury risk estimation’. Then we can identify and implement interventions to reduce the risk of those injuries, and in fact increase performance, by improving the individual’s intrinsic biomechanics.
