Elaine Briggs - Chief Education & Partnerships Officer
Elaine is recognised as a leading voice within the industry, steering and contributing to the future direction of the Health and Fitness sector. Throughout her career, Elaine has demonstrated an enormous passion for educating and inspiring others. Beginning her career as a lifeguard and personal trainer, Elaine has worked through a variety of positions over her 30 year career in the industry, before expanding her knowledge through roles with both training providers and awarding organisations across a number of sectors. Her career progression via the vocational pathway demonstrates the intrinsic value of the expertise this provides and Elaine remains a devoted advocate for vocational education.
With twenty years of cross-sector experience, Elaine brings her knowledge of both occupations in health and physical activity, and the communities they benefit, to her role as Chief Education & Partnerships Officer at the Future Fit Group. Her recent election to the ukactive Supplier Council exemplifies her reputation for foresight within the sector, and Elaine will use this role to amplify the voices of the organisations that make up industry, supporting growth and driving the move towards a wider public health workforce.
Elaine has a deep understanding of the value in upskilling and developing our workforce and a desire to ensure that all coaches, trainers and activators are equipped with the skills to motivate and inspire each person and community they work with.
