Lewis Thompson - Business Development Manager
Lewis has been working in the Fitness industry since graduating, starting his career as a Trainee Manager at GLL to most recently working up to CEO at Exercio. Managing and developing complex customer-facing venues, building-up a huge bank of skills and experience in facilities/operations management, commercial and financial leadership, people management, site development, product innovation, and more. Working for the UK’s largest operator of leisure and fitness centres, Lewis has had some noteworthy positions such as running the National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace, hosting international athletics and swimming events and involvement in the amazing Invictus Games. He also led the transformation of London 2012 Olympic training venues from functional spaces into high footfall destinations for all.
People have described Lewis as someone who can manage the detail, but without losing sight of the strategic and commercial big picture, and he has been recognised with awards for team development as well as innovations in product development and delivery.
