John Oxley

John Oxley John Oxley developed and delivers The Transformational Leadership Program to shift the sector's thinking from leisure to preventative health, whilst currently CEO of Life Leisure, a Board member at GM Active and a Non-Exec Director for ActiveXchange. John is passionate about sport and physical activity and continually strives to inspire others. In a nutshell, he's persuasive, challenging of convention and always with a dollop of good humour.

Ken Masser Ken is recognised as one of the leading practitioners in practical systems leadership and is a keynote speaker on a range of leadership programmes. For more than 5 years Ken has worked in a range of roles alongside strategic and place leaders and influencing system change. Much of this work has involved inclusive and creative engagement approaches to understanding the context of places and organisations, designing new and innovative programmes and approaches to establishing networks and building common purpose among communities.

We worked in collaboration with Active IQ, a leading awarding organisation in the UK physical activity sector, bringing together our shared vision and values, to address the skills gap and elevate the professionalism of the the industry. Responding to a sector-wide need for a structured pathway to management roles, Future Fit and Active IQ partnered with GM Active to bridge the gap in business and management experience amongst individuals working at their 99 leisure and sport facilities across Greater Manchester.
