These are the key feature updates, highlighting some of the major improvements. They are not a comprehensive list of all recent changes to Flex, but they showcase the most impactful ones that could benefit your operations.

16th October 2024 - Report Enhancements

16th October 2024 - Report Enhancements Administrators now receive email notifications if their reports fail. Additionally, failed reports can be re-run by selecting ‘Retry’ from the drop-down menu, ensuring your reports are always up-to-date.

18th September 2024 - Report Enhancements

18th September 2024 - Report Enhancements FlexCommerce now supports subscriptions, enabling you to offer training through recurring payment plans. This feature is fully automated by Flex, making it easier to manage. We've also enhanced the FlexCommerce dashboards with new graphics to help you better track and optimise your sales funnel.

6th August 2024 - Sort Options (Date Released)

6th August 2024 - Sort Options (Date Released) Users can now sort their training programmes by release date within the Search and Library sections, giving them more control over how they view available content.

26th July 2024 - Release After ‘X’ Days

26th July 2024 - Release After ‘X’ Days You can now delay the release of training materials until ‘X’ days after they’ve been assigned to users. Before they become available, users will see the content marked as ‘coming soon’. This feature is ideal for staggered or drip-fed learning, rather than releasing all content at once.

17th July 2024 - Flex Admin Roles

17th July 2024 - Flex Admin Roles Administrators can now be assigned specific roles, providing greater control over what they can view and manage based on their designated permissions. This helps streamline access and responsibility within your team.

11th June 2024 - Additional Webhook Support

11th June 2024 - Additional Webhook Support We’ve improved webhook support to further enhance Flex’s integration with your internal systems, such as HR platforms, enabling smoother automation and data flows.

15th May 2024 - Improved Image Library

15th May 2024 - Improved Image Library The image library is now accessible via the main navigation. Images can be added to pages and content easily via the content builder, offering more creative flexibility. Want to add your own images? Simply email them to [email protected] and we’ll help integrate them into your library.

Helpful Tips And Resources

Vote for your own Features When logged in to the Admin Portal, you will see a "Vote for Features" button located in the top right. You can use this to submit your own features that you'd like to see in Flex. You can also upvote other requests so that we know this is valuable to you.

Custom Images Did you know, you can use your own images within Flex? These can be added to the thumbnails of training or within the Content area for pages and training. To get your own images added to your image library, please send these to [email protected], including any folder names as required.

Not a fan of the terminology we use? You can customise the labels for the tabs to a name that suits you by going into "Settings", then "Labels"

FAQs

A user is unable to login as they have lost their device and have 2FA set up

You can disable 2FA for the user so that they can login and reset this back up on their new device. Simply navigate to the user in Flex, then click “more” in the top right followed by “Disable 2FA”
Made a change to a user but it's not showing as expected yet?

Changes can sometimes take a moment, but you can also “Rebuild” the user by clicking this within the “more” menu in top right. This will clear the system’s cache for the user and re-establish their setup (don’t panic, no data will be lost in this process).
I can't see a particular Group

You will either not have access to the Group, in which case you will need to speak to the relevant admin that created it if you feel you need access. Alternatively, it could be that it’s a hidden Group. You can filter to show hidden groups using the filter button and turning this on when viewing Groups.
