This course is split into two key parts. Part one focuses on securing employment in the S&C industry, helping learners understand the variety of roles available, access FFfB’s job board and employer partner network, create effective CVs and cover letters, perform confidently in interviews, and understand the legal and professional responsibilities required in both employed and self-employed roles, including tax, insurance, and client management.
Part two is designed for those pursuing a self-employed business, covering client identification, business setup, GDPR compliance, market research, product development, marketing, sales strategies, and operational systems. Delivered online through interactive modules with downloadable resources, the course provides practical, actionable guidance to prepare your staff for success. Part one takes approximately two hours to complete, while part two takes around three hours.
