Future Fit for Business has teamed up with Miova, a pioneer in whole systems leadership, to launch a new e-learning module. This exciting collaboration brings together Miova’s extensive experience in tackling complex societal issues such as poverty, physical inactivity, and obesity, with Future Fit’s expertise in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Together, they have developed Introduction to Systems Leadership, an innovative e-learning course aimed at public sector professionals.
This 60–90-minute interactive course offers a fresh perspective on systems leadership by making advanced concepts both accessible and practical. Specifically designed for public sector leaders and professionals, the course blends essential theory with real-world examples, offering participants actionable strategies to address pressing issues like poverty, public health, and social inequality.
The collaboration between Future Fit and Miova reflects the growing recognition that today’s public sector challenges are increasingly complex, demanding innovative and interdisciplinary solutions. Introduction to Systems Leadership emphasises the importance of understanding how societal issues are interconnected, moving beyond simple, isolated solutions and instead fostering collaboration across sectors to create lasting change.
Ken Masser, CEO of Miova, said:
“This partnership with Future Fit Group allows us to bring systems thinking to the forefront of public sector problem-solving in a way that is accessible and affordable. By offering this introductory course, we aim to help professionals see complex issues from a new perspective and adapt their approaches to tackle society’s most pressing challenges.”
The course not only helps professionals grasp the concept of systems leadership but also demystifies it. Complex ideas are broken down into manageable and engaging learning content, equipping participants with the skills needed to adapt their strategies and shift their approaches to solving problems in a way that leads to lasting, systemic change.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, the need for accessible, high-quality professional development has never been more critical. Future Fit for Business, well-known for delivering flexible learning solutions, has created this e-learning module to meet the growing demand for innovative professional growth opportunities.
Miova’s vast experience in applying whole systems approaches to real-world challenges made them the ideal partner for this initiative. Together, the two organisations are committed to equipping public sector professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to make meaningful, long-term impacts within their organisations and communities.
Tom Godwin, Group Operations Director at Future Fit, added:
“The Systems Thinking and Leadership programme is a key tool to support leaders and anyone looking to understand the system they are part of. These skills are especially important in fitness, physical activity, and wellness. The learnings can help individuals become more effective conveners who leverage systems for the greater good of their organisations and communities. Future Fit is excited to partner with Miova, as well-regarded experts in systems thinking and leadership, to deliver this dynamic programme. This is important for our sector and will also help integrate with wider services. Ken, Cate, and the team at Miova are trusted and respected within our sector, and it is a pleasure to work with them. We look forward to seeing how this training will support and impact our sector.”
The Introduction to Systems Leadership module is just the beginning. Future Fit for Business and Miova are already planning to release more advanced learning modules in early 2025. These new courses will empower professionals to tackle even larger and more complex societal issues, further enhancing leadership skills within the public sector.
